Each recognized language test uses its own scoring scale — CELPIP, IELTS, and PTE Core all report results differently. To ensure a fair and consistent evaluation, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) converts all scores into a unified scale: CLB (Canadian Language Benchmarks) for English and NCLC (Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens) for French.
Your test scores will be automatically converted to the appropriate CLB/NCLC level to calculate your FSWP points.
